Born in the village of Pinuya\, Iba grew up immersed in the ancestral knowledge of his lineage\, studying closely with his father\, Pajé Kupi\, one of Brazil’s most respected healers. Together\, they carry a strong and sacred lineage\, refined over generations. \nIba is a traditional healer and a master in crafting medicinal plants\, —creating drops\, rapé\, herbal baths\, leaf juices\, perfumes\, oils\, tinctures\, and creams. He is also a master of sacred prayers and traditional healing\, both with and without medicine\, offering profound ancestral wisdom in every practice. \nHis ceremonies are rooted in traditional Huni Kuin songs and prayers\, using Huni Meka\, a concentrated ritual of chants and energy work. This practice calls upon the forces of healing\, vision\, and wisdom\, working with the group in a highly focused and organized way throughout the night. \nAfter the main healing work\, the ceremony opens to moments of joy and celebration\, with music inspired by Huni Kuin traditions\, guitars\, and drums.
