Discover the profound wisdom and healing of Paje Iba Inu Bake, a traditional healer from the Huni Kuin people of the Brazilian Amazon. Born in the village of Pinuya, Iba grew up immersed in the ancestral knowledge of his lineage, studying closely with his father, Pajé Kupi, one of Brazil’s most respected healers. Together, they carry a strong and sacred lineage, refined over generations.

Iba is a traditional healer and a master in crafting medicinal plants, —creating drops, rapé, herbal baths, leaf juices, perfumes, oils, tinctures, and creams. He is also a master of sacred prayers and traditional healing, both with and without medicine, offering profound ancestral wisdom in every practice.

His ceremonies are rooted in traditional Huni Kuin songs and prayers, using Huni Meka, a concentrated ritual of chants and energy work. This practice calls upon the forces of healing, vision, and wisdom, working with the group in a highly focused and organized way throughout the night.

After the main healing work, the ceremony opens to moments of joy and celebration, with music inspired by Huni Kuin traditions, guitars, and drums. While Iba does not play guitar himself, he is accompanied by Ariana- Xacuani, an advanced student of the Huni Kuin tribe, curandera, medicines music artist and translator of Portuguese and English, who Will help guide the traditional songs and prayers with Iba, and share her original medicine music, adding joy, Beauty and healing to the night
