Amazonian Tribal Event

An encounter with ancestral medicines of the Amazon rainforest. Each ceremony is an opportunity to delve into ancestral spirituality through song, dance and master plants. A propitious time to clean, heal, align and strengthen body, mind and spirit. Ceremonies with ancestral medicine are conducted by Mastahãe – Costa Rebelo – with great firmness and confidence.
The Ceremony begins in an atmosphere and meditation, with ancestral chants and an invitation to contact healing energies. This opens up the possibility of singing and dancing to the sound of musical instruments. Introspection and joy are part of the ceremony in equal measure, leading each participant to experience the depth of medicine with love and kindness.
Meet your facilitator:
Mashtahãe (Costa Rabelo) is a medicine man that carries the altar of the Yawanawas and the Sacred fire of Itzachilatlan tradition.
Initiated in the knowledge of healing, prayers and traditional sacred songs, he completed many studies in the forest. Among them, is the Muka Diet (the main and most important Diet from the Yawanawa tradition) under the Great Pajé Yawarani.
Mashtahãe is a great connoisseur of the ancestral histories of the Yawanawas, conducting beautiful storytelling sessions with deep meaning and analogies. He also completed his 4 years of vision quest and 4 years of sun dance.
Is the bearer of the sacred Chanupa, and has the blessing to conduct temazcals and half-moon ceremonies.
Mashtahãe will be guiding the retreat with Joytii Kaur , who has accompanied him on many travels through Brazil for the past 7 years. Joytii is studying the practice of healing and going deep into the diets of the Yawanawas and Kamanawas. Is also a Kundalini Yoga teacher and works with women, helping them to heal and to connect with their inner selves.
They both value respect, the seriousness of the path, and the love of medicine.
