🍃 For over 600 years, the Piaguaje lineage of the Siona people has prepared the sacred Yagé medicine in their Ancestral Ayahuasca Kitchen. This sacred space rests at the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, along the serene banks of the Putumayo River, within the Siona reservation territory.

🌿 Taita John Alexander Castaño, the heir to the wisdom passed down through generations, hails from the lineage of Grandfather Laureano Piaguaje, who lived to be 113 years old, he served as the highest authority within his community and among the Traditional Doctors of the Siona Tribe in the Putumayo Region of Colombia. Though Grandfather Laureano Piaguaje passed away on May 8, 2019, his legacy and the wisdom of the Siona Tribe continue to thrive.
